Challenge. Rio Piedra’s family vineyard needed a wine label design that reflected the family’s heritage and qualified its high price point.
Solution. The Rio Piedra vineyard is crossed by a creek reminiscent of the stony Rio Piedra, a river which runs near the vintners’ childhood home in El Salvador. We captured this nostalgia using a photograph of three simple stones. Subtle elegant details—such as embossing, touches of gloss, and a hand-written bottle number—add to the quality perceivable via the label. Just as elegant, the winery’s website creates a cohesive representation of the Rio Piedra brand.
